Ferdous Al Rafi

About me

Hello, I am Ferdous Al Rafi. Currently, I am a 4th-year student in Civil Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh. I am majoring in Transportation Engineering. My current undergraduate thesis project focuses on analyzing the effectiveness of using reinforcement learning for traffic signal control.

Aside from my interest in artificial intelligence and transportation engineering, I have a broader interest in how complex systems form and evolve. Everything is interrelated and affects each other. This simple idea guides my curiosity to explore diverse subjects and understand how they work together.

Besides my academic pursuits, I freelance online occasionally in my free time. This experience has given me valuable perspective into working outside academic environments.
