Ferdous Al Rafi

About me

Hello, I am Ferdous Al Rafi. I am currently a first-year PhD student in Computer Science at Arizona State University. I work under the supervision of Professor Hua Wei at the Data Mining and Reinforcement Learning (DaRL) Lab. My interests lie at the intersection of artificial intelligence and transportation engineering. Previously, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), majoring in Transportation Engineering.

Aside from my interest in artificial intelligence and transportation engineering, I have a broader interest in how complex systems form and evolve. Everything is interrelated and affects each other. This simple idea guides my curiosity to explore diverse subjects and understand how they work together.
